The Role

An excellent opportunity for Building Services Engineer, Architect or Project Manager who is looking to make the move into a project and design coordinator position in our Sydney CBD office. Reporting directly to the Building Services Manager, you will also build strong relationships with the engineers and drafters to ensure a successful delivery of high quality projects.  The future role of this current will evolve into a team leader or manager of a team of co-coordinators.

Key components of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Understand key timeline of project deliverables and design requirements
  • Coordinate multiple challenging projects concurrently, including multi-disciplinary projects
  • Assist in the delivery of projects in a quality, cost effective and efficient manner
  • Subject matter expert across Building Services
  • Client liaising and development, including attendance at meetings and inspections
  • Peer reviewing, managing quality/ verification register for all projects before delivery stage
  • The opportunity to develop to your full potential alongside owners of the business

You will be heavily involved in a wide range of projects including commercial buildings, residential developments, hospitals, fit-out, aged care and educational facilities.

The Candidate

This is a role suitable for someone already in a similar position in Building Services Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or Trade within the market, who is involved in project delivery and client interface.

As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:

  • Upwards of 5 years of proven experience in Building Services industry, specifically in an engineering consultancy
  • Tertiary qualification
  • Experience working with top tier building contractors
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship building skills
  • Leadership skills are crucial to be able to influence and drive the outcomes of the Building Services team
  • Logical thinker, organisational skills
